Two police officers who allegedly had Neil Stonechild in their cruiser the night he was last see alive lost an appeal of their dismissals. A hearing officer presiding over the appeal under the Police Act found former Saskatoon constables Larry Hartwig and Bradley Senger unsuitable for police service. Hartwig's lawyer Aaron Fox said his clients are innocent. (Stonechild was found frozen to death on the outskirts of Saskatoon five days after he vanished in November 1990.)
