Two more Canadian soldiers were killed in Afghanistan on November 27th. Their deaths brought to 44 the number of Canadian troops killed since the mission began in 2002. Canadian Brigadier-General Timothy Grant said the soldiers died when a suicide bomber drove up to their convoy near Kandahar City and detonated the device. (The Canadian soldiers were helping with reconstruction projects.)
