Thousands gathered in Vimy, France April 9th for the re-dedication of the monument to the Canadians who died in the attack on Vimy Ridge 90 years ago. The Queen told the crowd that four Victoria Crosses were awarded to Canadians for bravery at Vimy -- but she said all the Canadians showed conspicuous bravery. (Queen Elizabeth also committed the re-dedication of the memorial to six Canadians who died in Afghanistan just the day before. )
