On April 25th, a day after the Tory environmental plan was mistakenly faxed to the Liberals, the government announced the details. The Tory blueprint, dubbed "Turning the Corner," includes various measures to stop the rise of greenhouse gases in three to five years. Environment Minister John Baird said Canadian industry would have to do its part. (The federal government also declared a countrywide ban on the sale of inefficient lightbulbs by 2012.)
