There was a bombshell development June 4th at the Guantanamo Bay trial of a Canadian detainee. Terrorism-related charges against Omar Khadr were dropped after an American judge said he didn't have jurisdiction to hear the case. Khadr's eldest sister, Zaynab, said it was difficult to celebrate the good news after so many years of anguish. (Khadr was facing five charges, including murder -- carrying a potential life sentence.)
