A group of Mounties and screaming fans stood watch over a red carpet outside Toronto's Hummingbird Centre June 9th as the latest round of inductees into Canada's Walk of Fame received their stars. Alberta rockers Nickelback were the first to see their new star. Lead singer Chad Kroeger (CROO'-ger) said he and his bandmates were most excited about talking to fellow inductee and hockey great, Johnny Bower at the ceremony. (Other inductees included actors Catherine O'Hara, Jill Hennessy, and Gordon Pinsent, as well as journalist Lloyd Robertson, "Man in Motion" Rick Hansen and director Ivan Reitman.)
