Three Canadian soldiers were killed in southern Afghanistan on June 20th. Military officials say a powerful blast hit their unarmored vehicle at it carried supplies from one checkpoint to another. Canadian General Tim Grant said it never gets easy delivering sad news. (The deaths came on the day of the military funeral for 25-year-old Trooper Darryle Caswell in Bowmanville, Ontario. Caswell was killed June 11th in a roadside bombing.)
