Preview Clip

Conservative leader John Tory lost his bid to win a seat in the Ontario legislature. He was defeated October 10th by Liberal education minister Kathleen Wynne in the riding of Don Valley West. It was the worst showing by a party leader in an Ontario election since the trouncing of Liberal premier David Peterson in 1990. Tory told supporters at his Toronto headquarters he was disappointed with the results but learned a few things from his first campaign as party leader. (Many blamed Tory's downfall on his plan to fund faith-based schools.)
