A northern Ontario man who long maintained he should be considered one of Canada's wrongfully convicted was acquitted October 15th by the Ontario Court of Appeal. William Mullins-Johnson, who spent 12 years in prison for the death of his four-year-old niece in 1993, had this to say outside court. (The decision came after Crown prosecutors called for his acquittal, saying a forensic expert noted there was no evidence of homicide or sexual injury in the case.)
