Rockets hit a forward base in Afghanistan November 6th during a visit by Defense Minister Peter MacKay. The minister was shuttled to safety in an armored vehicle by his security personnel after the initial rocket attack. He was later flown out of the base by a helicopter. Just 15 minutes after the first attack, another rocket slammed into the base with an unmistakable bang and angry buzz followed by a loud explosion. Here's what it sounded like as the rocket landed in a cloud of smoke and dust about 50 meters from passing soldiers and reporters.
