Icy road conditions appeared to contribute to a fatal crash November 6th in northwestern Alberta. A 20-year-old woman, her five-month old son and a 72-year-old woman were killed when their bus flipped over into a ditch. Tamas Virag, a reporter for the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune newspaper, said some of the Greyhound passengers were thrown from the bus and some were trapped under the bus. (There were 28 passengers on board the bus, headed from Edmonton to Grande Prairie. )
