An early morning explosion west of Kandahar on November 17th killed two Canadian soldiers and sent three others to hospital. Colonel Christian Juneau said the men were riding in a light armored vehicle when the incident happened. (Corporal Nicolas Beauchamp of the 5th field ambulance and Private Michel Levesque of the Royal 22nd were killed along with an Afghan interpreter.)
