Conrad Black showed little emotion as he was sentenced to six-and-half-years in prison for fraud and obstruction of justice. The prosecution wanted a lengthier sentence but chief federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald said he was satisfied with the outcome. (Black was ordered to pay a 125-thousand-dollar fine and forfeit 6.1 million dollars.)
