A Canadian woman was shot January 6th in Thailand. In an exclusive interview with The Canadian Press, Carly Reisig of Chilliwack, BC, explained from her hospital bed that her companion, John Leo Del Pinto of Calgary who died in the shooting, saved her life. (Reisig said the bullet came within an inch of her heart. A Thai police officer was later charged with premeditated murder.)
