A jury found Robert Baltovich not guilty of second-degree murder in the disappearance of his girlfriend, Elizabeth Bain. She went missing in 1990 and her body has never been found. Outside court on April 22nd, Baltovich said he wished he had heard the same verdict in 1992 when he was sent to prison for eight years. (Baltovich's retrial ended only minutes after it began after the Crown effectively said it didn't have a case against him.)
