Seven people died and one survived after a charter airplane carrying a team of workers bound for a hydro-electric project in northern British Columbia's Toba Inlet crashed on a small island near the Sunshine Coast. Coast Guard Auxiliary officers were the first to spot the lone survivor. Dree McKee, a spokesman for the volunteer crew, said the man came out of the dense bush wrapped in a yellow sheet and waving to get their attention.
