Palestinian Dalal Kawas, a teacher, focused on the bombing of a United Nations school a week earlier. (Of the 47 nations making up the United Nations human rights council in Geneva, Canada was the only one to vote against a resolution condemning the Israeli military offensive in Gaza.)
