Police arrested a Toronto man on April 17th for allegedly trying to send nuclear technology to Iran in violation of a United Nations resolution. RCMP Inspector Greg Johnson said the Mounties seized pressure transducers, used in the production of enriched uranium. (Mahmoud Yadegari, an Iranian-born Canadian citizen, was charged under the Customs Act and was also accused of violating UN sanctions on Iran.)
