Workers at GM of Canada overwhelmingly ratified a third round of historic concessions in less than a year to help keep the automaker alive. The May 25th deal was a key condition of billions in government loans. CAW president Ken Lewenza said the union was told the company would keep its plants running during its restructuring to meet customer demand for the new Camaro. (GM was in the midst of completing its restructuring plan to present to governments in Canada and the US.)
