Some 17-thousand residents of West Kelowna, BC, were forced to flee their homes in July because of forest fires. BC Forests Minister Pat Bell said people were wise to heed the evacuation warning. He didn't think much of one man who was hesitating. (Police say they believe the blaze was human-caused -- either accidentally or deliberately.)
