A man, his wife and their son from a Montreal-based Afghan family were charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of three Montreal sisters and their caregiver. The bodies of the three teenaged sisters and the 50-year-old woman were found in a submerged car near Kingston, Ontario. Ontario police chief Stephen Tanner described the deaths as senseless.
