Corporal Matthew Wilcox, a Canadian reservist, was found guilty July 30th of criminal negligence causing death in the shooting of a fellow soldier he shared a tent with in Afghanistan. Major Jason Samson said the death was a clear case of misuse of firearms, even if it was an accident. (Wilcox was sentenced to four years in prison and was dismissed from the military for shooting Corporal Kevin Megeney on March 6th, 2007.)
