Former Livent theatre executives Garth Drabinsky and Myron Gottlieb were sentenced August 5th to seven and six years respectively in prison for fraud and forgery. Drabinsky's lawyer, Edward Greenspan, was short on comments outside the court, but said appeals had been launched. (Drabinsky and Gottlieb were convicted of defrauding investors by cooking the books of their company, Livent.)
