Two Alberta men were charged September 13th in an alleged Ponzi scheme. Alberta RCMP Superintendent Eric Mattson said the pair allegedly bilked thousands of people out of 400 million dollars. Mattson said people should be careful when it comes to investing hard earned money. (Police accused Gary Sorenson and Milowe Brost of being the masterminds behind the scheme that bilked thousands of investors in Canada, the United States and overseas between 1999 and December 2008. Brost was arrested September 13th and Sorenson was arrested after returning to Canada on September 29th.)
