Canada's largest-ever immunization campaign was given the go-ahead on October 21st. Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq announced her department had given approval of a vaccine for the H1N1 flu. (In Canada, priority for the swine-flu shot was assigned to pregnant women, health workers, young children, people living in remote places, and adults with chronic conditions -- the groups most vulnerable to the H1N1 virus.)
