The widow of a young Canadian officer killed in Kandahar on October 28th paid tribute to her husband and expressed her support for the mission in Afghanistan. Alanna Boyes said Lieutenant Justin Boyes was a wonderful husband and a loving father. (Boyes, who grew up in Saskatoon, was killed by an explosion while leading a foot patrol. He was 26-years-old.)
