Victims of Newfoundland and Labrador's worst public health scandal reached a 17.5-million dollar settlement in their class-action lawsuit over hundreds of botched breast cancer tests. Marie Hickey said she was relieved the suit wasn't dragged out in court. (More than 400 patients had their breast cancer tests botched from 1997 to 2005.)
