Kirby and Marie Fontaine from Sagkeeng First Nation, east of Winnipeg, won 50-million dollars in the November 7th Lotto Max draw. It was one of the biggest jackpots in Canadian history, and the largest lottery prize in Manitoba history. Marie said she had three of the winning numbers -- 2, 7 and 8 -- but phoned the store where the lucky ticket was purchased to get the rest. (The couple from the Sagkeeng First Nation east of Winnipeg said the windfall would change their lives in lots of ways.)
