On December 8th, the Commissioner for Public Complaints Against the RCMP issued a damning report into the death of Robert Dziekanski at Vancouver's airport in October 2007. Paul Kennedy said four Mounties who confronted Dziekanski "fell short" of expectations. (The officers told a public inquiry in BC they repeatedly Tasered Dziekanski because they felt threatened. But Kennedy said he didn't find any of the officers' statements credible.)
