The two-day G8 Summit began in Huntsville, Ontario on June 25th, immediately followed by the bigger G-20 Summit in Toronto through to June 27th. In downtown Toronto, roving bands of G-20 protesters set fire to police vehicles and smashed windows -- despite a one billion dollar security tab and thousands of police at the ready. Canadian Press reporter Terry Pedwell was at Queen's Park, where riot police clashed with protesters.
