A British Columbia man was free after spending 27 years in prison for rapes he insisted he did not commit. The BC Appeal Court acquitted Ivan Henry on October 27th. Henry said he was overwhelmed that his wrongful conviction had finally been overturned. He also said he was not bitter. (The BC Appeal Court unanimously quashed Henry's convictions and entered acquittals relating to 10 counts involving rapes in Vancouver between May 1981 and June 1982.)
