Environment Minister Jim Prentice announced November 4th in the House of Commons that he was quitting politics. Prentice resigned from cabinet and walked away as the MP for Calgary Centre North. He told the Commons it was time to leave. (The man once touted as a possible successor to Prime Minister Stephen Harper said he had accepted a job as a vice-chairman of the Bank of Commerce.)
