The patriarch of a notorious Mafia family was shot and killed November 10th. Nicolo Rizzuto was murdered in his Montreal-area home, shot by an assassin. Crime journalist and Mafia expert Antonio Nicaso said Rizzuto's murder was an obvious sign that a change was taking place in the underworld.
