RCMP announced charges against two more suspects in what they believed was the gang rape of a teenage girl at a rave party in Pitt Meadows, BC in 2010. An 18-year-old from Maple Ridge was charged with sexual assault and a 19-year-old from Langley was charged with production and distribution of child pornography. A 16-year-old boy had earlier been charged with the same child porn offences after photos of the alleged attack were posted on social networking sites. At a January 6th news conference, Sergeant Peter Thiessen read a statement from the girl's parents. (Thiessen said police still felt there was more than one suspect involved in the alleged assault but witnesses were uncooperative.)
