The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario issued disgraced pathologist Charles Smith a harshly worded reprimand for committing errors that resulted in the criminal convictions of innocent people. Smith was not present March 25th as the college said his egregious and repulsive actions caused irreparable harm to many innocent victims. Tammy Marquardt, who spent 14 years in prison for her son's death, was there and said it was too bad Smith didn't hear the words in person. (The College revoked Smith's medical license in February -- saying Smith's actions compromised the administration of justice, and that he did not act morally or ethically.)
