Emergency crews began cleaning up a massive pipeline spill in northern Alberta on April 29th. Regulators thought it was only a minor spill. But a few days later, Energy Resources Conservation Board spokesman Davis Sheremata revealed that the spill was much more serious than first believed. (About 4.4 million liters of oil spilled from the leaky pipeline. It was Alberta's worst spill in 36 years.)
