BC Premier Christy Clark celebrated May 11th after winning a byelection which put her in the legislature. She won by just under 600 votes. Clark said voters of Vancouver-Point Grey broke a long string of byelection losses for both the ruling Liberals and New Democrats. (While disappointed with his loss, New Democrat David Eby said he was pleased he made the Liberals sweat.)
