A New Brunswick man charged with abducting a woman outside a shopping mall in Moncton and keeping her captive for nearly a month was convicted July 6th. A jury found Romeo Cormier guilty of kidnapping, forcible confinement and sexual assault, among other charges. The woman -- whose voice was altered to protect her identity -- said outside court that Cormier is a repulsive man. (Cormier was later sentenced to 18 years in prison.)
