A passenger plane crashed August 19th in the remote Arctic community of Resolute Bay, Nunavut. Twelve people were killed, and three were injured. Aziz Kheraj (ker-EYE') lost family and friends when the 7-37 went down while landing. (An initial report by the Transportation Safety Board said there was cloud, fog and light rain at the time of the accident but the cause remained under investigation.)
