Occupy activists in Vancouver completed tearing down their mini-village outside the art gallery three days after the city won a court-authorized injunction compelling the group to vacate the grounds. Some moved their camp to a covered area outside the provincial courthouse. The city of Victoria won an enforcement order the same day giving police the power to remove Occupy campers and their belongings from a park outside city hall. Jordan Aleister-Malcolm said he planned to rope himself to a railing to make a political statement. (A spokesman for the group said the protest aimed to bring awareness to numerous issues -- including the growing gap between rich and poor, lack of fair taxation and a lack of affordable housing in Vancouver.)
