Police in Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa shut down Occupy protest camps deemed illegal and ordered removed. All protests ended largely without incident. Protester Aaron Morris said just the fact that the average person seemed to be discussing Occupy -- even if they hadn't taken part in protests -- marked the success of the movement. (Police said 11 people were arrested in Toronto for trespassing and later released. In Ottawa, at least eight people were arrested when police entered Confederation Park to ask Occupy protesters to leave.)
