Three Albertans -- including a nine-year-old boy -- were rescued at sea just after a swell capsized their sailboat. The US Coast Guard directed a container ship to head to the sailboat about 450 kilometers off Hawaii. The boat was reported disabled in "extreme conditions" and the "Horizon Reliance" arrived just as it sank. Thirty-two-year-old Brad James described how he pushed his nine-year-old son, onto a ladder to be rescued. (James said being pulled aboard and seeing his rescuers was like "a gauntlet of happiness.")
