Three people were killed February 26th in a passenger train derailment in Burlington, Ontario. The three victims were Via Rail engineers who were in the locomotive. At least four cars left the tracks. Passenger Deanna Villella of Welland described the scene aboard the car she was in. (Seventy-five people were on the train travelling from Niagara Falls to Toronto. Thirty-two passengers were injured.)
