Canadian celebrity chef Anthony Sedlak died in his North Vancouver apartment July 6th after collapsing from an undiagnosed medical condition. He was 29. Sedlak was best-known as the host of Food Network Canada's "The Main," and a judge on "Family Cook Off,' as well as author of the national bestseller cookbook, "The Main." Sedlak grew up in North Vancouver and started his career at the age of 13 as a bus boy at a cafeteria on the Grouse Mountain Resort before becoming a chef. Resort president Stuart McLaughlin said Sedlak showed talent from an early age. (Sedlak had also helped start The American Cheesesteak Company, a Philadelphia-inspired restaurant in Vancouver.)
