Two Quebec quarry workers were buried after a landslide swept several vehicles into a pit nearly 100 meters deep. The landslide happened at a gravel quarry in L'Epiphanie, Quebec. One worker was able to stay above ground and a police helicopter swooped in later to evacuate him. Rescue efforts were thwarted by bad weather and concerns of another landslide. Quebec provincial police spokesman Gregory Gomez said the workers' bodies were recovered on February 2nd.
