BlackBerry's new touchscreen Z10 smartphone hit Canadian shelves, a long-awaited milestone that was seen as a make-or-break moment for the once-dominant company. In contrast to some of Apple's product launches, however, the mood outside key Toronto stores was subdued. Canadian Press reporter David Friend said the launch didn't draw much of a crowd. (Some analysts had been concerned that BlackBerry's launch came too late to recover the lustre of its name.)
