Ontario's Rachel Homan defeated Manitoba's Jennifer Jones 9-6 to win the Scotties Tournament of Hearts on February 24th. It was the first national women's curling title for Homan and her team from the Ottawa Curling Club. Jones said a few mistakes proved costly.
