A Quebec court judge ordered accused killer Luka Rocco Magnotta to stand trial on a first-degree murder charge in the death of Chinese student Jun Lin. Quebec court Judge Lori-Renee Weitzman concluded that there was enough evidence to send Magnotta to trial on the charge of premeditated murder. Crown prosecutor Louis Bouthillier (LOO'-ee BOO'-tee-yay) praised investigators for their work. (Magnotta's lawyer had no comment when he left the courtroom after the judge's ruling. The accused sat impassively with his hands folded into his lap, dressed head-to-toe in white.)
