All five family members in a car -- three adults and two children -- were killed in a horrific crash in Surrey, BC when a minivan ran a red light at a high rate of speed and t-boned the car, leaving a debris field of about 200 meters in size. Sergeant Dale Carr said it was the most devastating incident he had seen in over 20 years. (The driver of the minivan died in hospital a week later.)
