A 16-year-old prospect for the Acadie-Bathurst Titan junior hockey team died August 12th after collapsing during tryouts with the club. A spokesman for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League said Jordan Boyd had passed a medical exam before coming to the camp. Paul MacIsaac, a former president of Boyd's hockey club in Halifax, said it's sad this would happen to such a young player. (Boyd was the team's fourth draft pick, and was selected 66th overall in the QMJHL draft.)
